L3Harris is looking for a Specialist, Government Compliance - Asset Management professional to be responsible for managing a wide variety of detailed analysis for financial reporting, audit support and other special projects within the Government Property Compliance function with supervisory oversight.
This person will ensure all property management outcomes are strictly adhered to and will follow the complete life cycle of Government Property.
Essential Functions:
Communicates within own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (eg customers, vendors, etc.
) when necessary.
Explains, interprets and gains cooperation on policies, procedures and practices for Government Property ComplianceEnsure timely, accurate maintenance and reporting of government and company owns assets, including data for financial reports, physical inventory results, lost equipment, self-assessment results and ad hoc reports upon requestPrepare asset management documentation and updates to the Command Media guidelinesEnsure proper guidance and training is available to assigned company personnel on the application of business system processes, interpretation of laws and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other government and company compliance requirements Establish and implement the asset system processes and procedures to ensure assets are managed throughout their life cycle in accordance with applicable regulations (eg FAR 52- 245-1, 52.
245-9) and company policiesServe as primary interface to customers, auditors, senior management and other internal stakeholders for all asset management matters related to Government Property and Capital AssetsLead/Support various DCMA audits such as Systems, FPP, FICP, Cost Accounting System, and Mandatory Annual Audit Requirements to include interaction with DCAA and DCMA regarding audit related issuesExperience utilizing communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
Work consists of making moderate to substantial improvement or enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance of job area.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related Government Property experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 5 years of prior related Government Property experienceMinimum of 8 years' experience managing a team of professional compliance associatesEither already maintain or the ability to acquire accreditation within the National Property Management Association (NPMA)Must hold and maintain active Secret security clearancePreferred Additional Skills:
Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)Experience working with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) & DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency)Must have hands on experience in supporting of DCAA & DCMA audits and DFARS Business Systems.
Strong computer skills (PeopleSoft & Queries, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Hyperion experience a plus)Proven proactive, self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentExperience utilizing communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organizationMust be detail oriented with good organizational skills and capable of multi-tasking Experience with business acumen conversions.
Able to work with minimal day to day supervision.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
